Biography:
  • Signed by the Braves on 5/8/2006 as a 2005 draft-and-follow (16th round) player from Chipola (FL) College
2006
  • Made five starts and nine relief appearances for Danville, earning his first save on 7/2 (three innings, no runs on two hits) vs. Greeneville and first win on 8/17 (one inning, two runs on four hits) against Kingsport
2007
  • Pitched three July games in Danville sandwiched between two extended stays in Rome
  • Surrendered six runs on six hits in two and two-thirds innings pitched while taking the loss in his first outing of the year 4/17 against Asheville
  • Did not allow more than four runs in any other appearance at Rome or Danville all year
  • Threw four scoreless appearances on his stat sheet in five tries from 4/21 to 6/23
  • Recorded his only save of the year on 7/22 with Danville, throwing three scoreless innings
  • Suffered his second and final loss of the year on 7/30, surrendering three runs in two innings against Burlington
  • Pitched a season-high 3.2 innings 8/17, allowing no runs on two hits and striking out a season-high seven against just one walk
  • Struck out at least two batters in his final ten appearances of the year at Rome
2008
  • Started the season with eight appearances in Rome, not receiving a decision but posting a 3.72 ERA and only allowing eight runs in 19.1 IP
  • Walked a career-high six men on 6/5 against Charleston but only allowed one to cross home
  • Promoted to Myrtle Beach and made his first appearance on 7/7, tossing one perfect inning of relief
  • Captured Ws in four straight decisions from 8/5-8/19, only allowing three runs over five appearances during that time
  • Pitched a career-high 5.2 innings in his second win of the year, 8/8 vs. Lynchburg, not allowing a run on two hits and striking out four without a single walk
  • Only allowed runs in four of 13 appearances in Myrtle Beach
  • In seven appearances in August, Jaye posted a 4-1 record with a 2.79 ERA versus 0-1 and 4.35 in July
