  • Went 4-2 with one save and a 4.91 ERA in his first professional season at Danville
  • Picked up his first career win with three scoreless innings, striking out four vs. Elizabethton
  • Recorded a four-inning save, the first of his career, on 7/15 vs. Elizabethton
2008
  • Notched a 6-7 record in 36 appearances (one start) for Rome
  • Won two of his first three decisions on 4/7 vs. Columbus and 4/20 vs. Savannah
  • Over a four game span from 7/2 to 7/17, Thomas registered three saves and a victory while only allowing one unearned run
  • Converted eight of 13 save opportunities and struck out 83 batters to just 24 walks all season
