Tyler Maun
Assistant Director of Broadcasting and Communications
Tyler comes to Myrtle Beach from his hometown of Denver, Colorado. In May 2007, Tyler graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and that fall he joined Mile High Sports Radio in Denver, quickly ascending the ranks from update anchor to executive producer to host of MHSRs drive time morning show at just 22 years old. Tyler also reported on all four major sports teams in Denver and was part of the broadcast team for the Colorado Crush of the Arena Football League.
Prior to his time in Denver, Tyler worked with ESPN Radio 1480, 90.3 KRNU and 89.3 KZUM in Lincoln, Nebraska as well as 5CITY TV, honing his play-by-play skills with a diverse array of University of Nebraska baseball, basketball and football as well as high school basketball and football.
Tyler is a lifelong baseball addict, playing in high school and on NUs club team in college. He enjoys critiquing sports uniforms, wandering around bookstores and traveling anywhere, especially Europe where he has been fortunate to backpack twice. He hopes to spend as much time on the beach as possible this season while living near the ocean for the first time.
