Bob Leber
Visiting Clubhouse Manager
A veteran of BB&T Coastal Field, Bob will spend his 8th year as the Visiting Clubhouse Manager in 2009. He is responsible for taking care of the opposing Carolina League teams when they come to Myrtle Beach to take on the Pelicans.
Bob got his start with the Pelicans back in 2002, when he began working as a ticket taker and an amusements attendee. Late in the season, he took over as the Visiting Clubhouse Manager and has been there ever since.
Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Bob retired from General Motors after 38 years as a Production Supervisor.
Bob and his wife Joanne moved to Myrtle Beach in 2001. Bob and Joanne will celebrate their 46th wedding anniversary on June 8th, 2009. Bob has three daughters and son.
It's no surprise that Bob's favorite teams are the Cleveland Indians, Cleveland Browns and Cleveland Cavaliers.
Little Known Fact: Bob coached Middle School wrestling and produced two state champions.
