Maggie enters her third season as the Director of Promotions after joining the Pelicans' front office in October of 2007. In her role, she is responsible for enhancing the fans gameday experience at BB&T Coastal Field. In addition, Maggie is charged with planning the club's game promotional schedule, coordinating special appearances by celebrities and traveling entertainment acts and planning and implementing team marketing programs through the media. She also oversees the Pelicans Internship program.
Maggie came to Myrtle Beach after spending the 2007 baseball season with the Pelicans' sister franchise, the State College (PA) Spikes of the short-season New York-Penn League, where she was an intern in the team's marketing and promotions department. 2010 will mark her sixth year in Minor League Baseball. She got her start in 2005 with the Erie (PA) SeaWolves of the Double-A Eastern League, where she worked as a box office employee and group sales intern.
Maggie is a graduate of Penn State University with a degree in Recreation, Parks and Tourism Management. Her family resides in North East, PA and her brother is an active member of the United States Air Force. She is a huge fan of Joe Paterno and loves to watch the Nittany Lion football games.
