Mike is entering his 8th season in professional baseball in 2009. The 2009 season will be his fourth as a member of the Pelicans where he serves as Facility Operations Manager of BB&T Coastal Field. Mike returned in 2007 after spending 2006 as the Director of Stadium Operations with the Carolina Mudcats, just up I-95 in Zebulon, North Carolina. He is ecstatic to be back in Myrtle Beach and to be working for Myrtle Beach Pelicans LP.
Mike, originally hails from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and has spent many summer nights at Eldridge Park - Home of the Cape Cod Baseball League's Orleans Cardinals, the number one collegiate summer field in the country. He attended Stetson University in sunny Deland, Florida. Mike has also spent time with the Elmore Sports Group in both Salt Lake City and Helena MT.
During his time away from BB&T Coastal Field he can be found on the beach or at a college football game cheering on the Boston College Eagles.
Little Known Fact: Mike is a published author having written a chapter on Helena, Montana in a well-known travel guide.
